Today is Macaron Day 2015. Today, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can get a free macaron at participating pastry shops. Some shops include my favorites Francois Payard, Epicerie Boulud, Bouchon Bakery, Spot Dessert Bar, Sugar and Plumm, but there are many more. For any additional macarons that you buy, a portion of the proceeds go to City Harvest, fighting hunger in NYC.
