I’ve written about NYC supermarkets before. They leave little to be desired next to supermarkets in other parts of the country. It’s no surprise that Associated, Key Foods and C-Town have the most violations. However, they are often the most affordable, and I can’t say, as a shopper, that the more expensive chains are that much better. The Upper West Siders love their Fairway, but check out its rating. Anyway, you can look up supermarkets in your area and see their rating in these NYC supermarket ratings.
