warm & snug & fat is a very cool food blog from a blogger in Ireland. Don’t you just love the name, warm & snug & fat? I do! So often, the word fat is associated with negativity, but the image these words convey is one of happiness and contentment with life and oneself. Being a literature lover, I enjoyed the Valentine’s post on Miss Havisham’s cookies. How creative is that? My Irish friend here in the United States said Anne Marie’s post on pancakes for Shrove Tuesday brought back memories from her childhood in Ireland. Her custard cream cookies look to die for. Her recipes are modern and creative. Some have a twist on tradition like her bakewell cheesecake. For St. Patrick’s Day, you may want to try her version of traditional Irish soda bread.
