This week’s Two for Tuesday are coffee and tea cakes. The first are brandied cherry beignets from Epicerie Boulud (Daniel Boulud’s pastry shop). They are called beignets, but I think their consistency is more like a tea cake. These melt in your mouth with the warm flavor of cherry. Yes, I ate the whole container myself. They are that good.
