She has a great DIY (do-it-yourself) column for Serious Eats that saves you money and keeps you away from processed foods. For Thanksgiving, she features a DIY jellied cranberry sauce. Also, check out her DIY oyster crackers and cultured buttermilk. Her DIY blueberry cereal bars could start a trend in food knock-offs.
