Family Circle held its popular First Lady Cookie Bake-off to go with the Presidential debates between President Obama and Mitt Romney. Michelle Obama’s cookie, white and dark chocolate chip cookie, is the winner. Ann Romney’s M&M’s cookies, came in second. I didn’t bake them and didn’t try them, but Michelle’s cookie sounds better. I did participate in the 2008 Bake-off. I made Michelle Obama’s shortbread cookies and Cindy McCain’s oatmeal-butterscotch cookies and brought them to work. Both cookies were good, but Cindy’s won at work and to my family.
