Book Expo America (BEA)

Last week, I attended Book Expo America (BEA), a huge publishing conference held in NYC that gives a sneak peek of new titles coming out this year.  The conference isn’t heavy on food-related publications, but there were some.  America’s Test Kitchen had a booth with information available on their new books.  Robert Kennedy Publishing had a booth, and I met Tosca Reno again this year, snagging an autographed copy of The Eat-Clean Diet Vegetarian Cookbook.  (Tosca is 53 years old, and gorgeous, by the way.)  I got a copy of Teresa Giudice’s Fabulicious! Fast & Fit Italian cookbook from Running Press, a member of the Perseus Books Group.  I met Wendy Paul and got a signed copy of her 101 Gourmet Cake Bites cookbook from Cedar Fort.  Ballantine Books is publishing QVC-foodie David Venable’s In the Kitchen with David in October and gave out advanced proofs with some of the recipes that will be included.  I got a rainbow cookie along with a signed recipe card from Mike Isabella.  His new book, Crazy Good Italian, is coming out in September.
