The New York Culinary Experience is a fun event for foodies. It entails a weekend of hands-on classes at the International Culinary Center in NYC. Tickets are $1395, so it’s not cheap to learn from the creme de la creme. (Part of the proceeds go to a scholarship fund for students of the Center.) Participating chefs include Francois Payard, Anita Lo, Dan Barber, Angela Pinkerton and more. Some classes include homemade ingredients, three chocolate desserts, egg techniques and classic Italian sweets refined. Tickets and more info are available here.
