March 1 kicks off Japan Week in NYC. It’s a celebration of Japanese food, music, art and culture. Some events include a kimono fashion show, a tea ceremony, how to on sharpening Japanese knives, and ice sculpting. The event takes place at Grand Central, and exhibitors include Curry-Ya, Soba Nippon, and Otafuku’s Japanese snack food–takoyaki.
