The New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine starts tomorrow, Thursday, September 29, 2011. The four-day festival features many famous food personalities from the Food Network and beyond: Ferran Adria, Daniel Boulud, Anthony Bourdain, Alton Brown, David Burke, Dana Cowin, Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, Debi Mazar, Whoopi Goldberg, Duff Goldman, Mark Isreal, Emeril Lagasse, Sandra Lee, Paul Liebrandt, Anita Lo, Pat & Gina Neely, Jacques Pepin, Francois Payard, Eric Ripert, Martha Stewart, Curtis Stone, Michael Symon, Ming Tsai, among others. The events range in price from free to pricey at $500 (Tribute Dinner honoring His Royal Highness Prince Robert of Luxembourg and Jacques Pépin presented by Bank of America). Some interesting events include a panel discussion on dining sustainably in NYC, women chefs, interview with Ferran Adria, and sushi rolling class with Morimoto. A number of events are sold out.
