OK, this is after the fact, but it’s too ew not to mention. As if breast milk ice cream wasn’t bad enough, we now have breast milk cheese. This project was more of an artist/social experiment by an NYU grad named Miriam Simun. The Lady Cheese Shop was set up at the Michael Mut gallery on Avenue C. Three cheeses–mozzarella, ricotta and blue–were made from the milk of three different women.
